Yep, belly bopping. When it comes to fighting over rocks and stuff, along with some biting and verbal sqabbles, the Adelie’s bop each other around with their chubby little bellies.
I told you I would try and get some video footage of it to share and I am delivering. This is actually a short clip from the film Cry of the Penguins. It’s an old movie from 1971 starring John Hurt and it actually has a lot of great Adelie penguin footage in it, not sure if some of the footage is old documentary stuff or if it was all shot specifically for this film. It’s a pretty good movie too, a somewhat shallow scientist guy ends up taking a job alone in Antarctica studying the penguins and has some time to reflect on his life a bit, while trying to keep sane.

I was wondering before why Wally didn’t use his brawn power to get the rocks from the Penguins.

If Wally is so good at Belly Bopping he should take on that huge penguin from when they first started collecting rocks.
