Acutally global warming is caused by those "evil" green house gasses. Such as Methane.
I had this dream too...OK in my case...I was bored at work, peeking in at W&O, and therefore it was a DAYdream....

Gas prices in the US all as they are these days, (but I've spent over 6 years outside my home country and see what SOME countries pay for gas), saw all this talk of global warming, and such...pshaw! I said!

Now having originally discovered On the Rocks 'cause of Martin over at ttp://www.martingrund.de/pinguine/ where it is full on WINTER in Antartica...bleck!

But, here I've just Pimped My Summer Ride (bicycle!) with ideas of putting a Pumper Sticker (snort â„¢) on which says "What high gas prices?"

Anyway, then I thought:

What would Wally and/or Osbourne or their newly-arrived visitors look like ....RIding Bikes?

And that's all I have to say....about that!

okay, its kinda off-subject, but I had the weirdest dream!!!
I dreamed that I was a tourist in Antarctica,
Then there was a storm and so I jumped off and swam
to the closest iceberg.
It just so happened that Wally and Osbourne were sitting on the
iceberg laughing at the tourists.
Then I heard a really loud "beep beep beep!"
I opened my eyes and realized that it was my alarm so I got up.

To Guy up there...

So what you are saying is that because we are not completely sure if it's our fault or not, we shouldn't do anything about it just in case it isn't? I'm sorry but i think that's just plain stupid. Even if it doesn't change a thing about global warming (which i doubt), working to stop the excessive use of fossil fuels and cutting down on eco-unfriendly emissions would mean fresher air for us to breathe. It would be a win-win situation.

It's true Guy. I've always looked down upon pointing out problems when no solutions are offered. Many opionists in the political field do that.

I see news of global warming as helping building awareness of our environment. If that will help bring down pollution and the human elimination of wildlife then that would be a good thing. In the last 50 years humans have already learned a lot about conserving water and energy and even recycling, and we need to learn more. We just cant be ignorant of the situation is all.

Wish we had penguins in the Toronto zoo, saw them in Montreal last time I was there but too long ago now :(

Global warming is a tricky subject. Let's say our current heat cycle were to be ENTIRELY caused by humans. If we were to end using fossil fuels and cut all eco-unfriendly emissions would that solve the problem? And in the event that the problem has very little to do with humans and more to do with the earth, what is it that we're supposed to do then? This is why the topic's kind of a joke to me, I really don't see what anyone thinks they're going to do about it. It's just something else to scream about.
