Here we meet one of our main characters. Wally. A Polar Bear all the way from the North Pole, where Polar Bears come from. How did he get to Antarctica? We don’t know that right now, but the locals might see him as a bit of a inadvertent menace.

Our other main character. A cute little awkward penguin named Osborne. A little loner penguin that befriended Wally on his arrival to this distant land. Osborne dreams of greatness someday but for now he’ll have to stumble over the obstacles that everyday life in Antarctica provide him.

The beaches in Antarctic are a little different. They are basically ice beaches except for some areas in summer that the dark soil and rock see water. When I first did this strip it almost looked like they were underwater watching a whale swim by. But that is in fact a Blue Whale being blown across the land right by them. Judging by his expression I think he also finds it a bit awkward.
