I share the same power of psychokinesis as Wally. In fact, I can even change the TV channel without getting up from the couch. On occasion, I can actually make someone thousands of miles away, giggle, without leaving my computer.

Hey, I totally recycled today’s artwork. Yeah, an identical looking strip ran almost exactly one year ago! Isn’t that great? What’s great is that I called myself out on it before you could.
I’ve got a busy week here so I will have to do some quick comics, but the good side of that is… comics!
See yuh Wally, I’ve decided it will be more of a challenge to write with just one character.
Also, the original art for this strip is available for purchase.
The colossal squid (Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni) which is thought to grow up to 13 or 14 meters long is even larger than the giant squid which is estimated to average about 10 meters long. It is known to live in Antarctic waters and has the largest eye in the animal kingdom. Just like the giant squid, they are known to battle with sperm whales. Their tentacles are shorter than the giant squid but their mantle (head) is much larger. Also, rather than having suckers lined with small “teeth”, their suckers have swiveling hooks… yikes!
A full specimen was discovered on the surface of the water in the Antarctic back in 2003. Then in February of 2007, a fishing boat caught the largest known specimen in Antarctica’s Ross sea (10 meters long and 495 kilograms or 33 feet and 1,091 pounds).
A quick note… the original art for yesterday’s comic is still available.
And for today, yeah, good old chain letters, I’m sure some of them are still making their way around from years ago… wait, I hope not, that’s sad. Always delete them and take the chance of that one death, lay low for a day or two, you don’t want to try to trick the system and be attempting to dodge the evil Osborne has brought down upon himself.
For those of you not familiar with how Wally & Osborne aquired computer access, read on here.
I have a couple slobber guitars myself. I have some other slobber sound effects as well, these are used when you are pretending to do something to someone up in their face, like pummeling them perhaps, maybe slashing them with an imaginary light saber, it’s so much more effective with your own added sound effects, them being drenched with your saliva is just a necessary side effect. It’s a sound effect side effect.
And we all own an air guitar, maybe even a set of air drums, because deep down inside we are all rock stars. Speaking of which, my cousin gave me Guitar Hero 2 with a couple guitar controllers a couple months ago and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. In fact, just got Guitar Hero Rocks the 80′s in the mail from Gamefly yesterday… “and I ra-a-an, i ran so far a-way-ay-ay…” so I’ve got some serious pretend guitar rocking out to do. You know, as you get to playing the harder levels it starts to seem that it would be a lot easier just to learn to actually play the songs… with an actual guitar, and then actually have learned to actually play them… but there wouldn’t be any scoring system.
The original art for this comic is available for purchase here as well as a few pages left from the Quest For the Beak storyline and marked down as well.
Hmm, would you call that fossil fuel?
You may recall me posting this mummified seal picture here before… back when Wally & Osborne were BASE jumping. Many seals and even penguins sometimes lose their way (perhaps in a snowstorm) and end up dead far inland on the Antarctic continent where nothing lives. Some great basins and valleys are full of their corpses which are mummified due to the cold and dry conditions.
Back on the subject of stoves… there’s nothing like a nice warm wood stove, as a kid I lived in New England and it was nice to sit by it after a day of play in the snow. They really radiate a lot of heat. I’d like to get one now that we live in the mountains, it’s getting pretty cold here with Winter having arrived.
I don’t think I know a single guy that doesn’t suffer at least a bit from some OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). It seems these days we add the word disorder to everything human. Things must be getting pretty disorderly. Chances are, right now you might have a comic reading disorder.
Sometimes being obsessive can be a nuisance, distracting my mind from stuff I need to get done. But when I get obsessive about getting done what I need to, then it’s great!
Anyway, who let Osborne get a hold of a self-help book?!
Guess who’s back? Wally & Osborne return to the site with fresh new comics starting tomorrow. Rejoice!
Sorry for the hiatus, as you know I had a new baby and we also moved to the mountains. So I got a bit preoccupied with all sorts of life stuff. We got an early winter here too, in November we had a snowstorm come through. Made me think of Wally and Osborne, I think I miss them as much as many of you have expressed, so updates begin again tomorrow. See you then!
