this is kinda like happy feet…. It features the same penguins, emperor and adelie. it has leopard seals, a mention of elephant seals, orcas, etc …..

I love skuas. They’re practically the only bird you can feed without them being so skittish. I remember taking several vacations where I can find South Polar skuas. There’s one that likes landing on my shoulder, head, or back if I bend down. Then if I see him hovering above me, I’ll hold out a hand with some food in it, and he’ll swoop down to take it. I wish I can keep one…..they seem like good pets or something.

You think that’s a nightmare, try actually dealing with these birds… Skua are the most hated birds in antarctica, at least by the human visitors there. Tyler’s right in saying these birds are agressive, they love to torment us humans by standing in the middle of the road knowing that we can’t run them over! (or it seem like it) Not to mention that they always steal food on that days the galley’s serving thinks like Prime Rib. ARRRGH!
