I receive so much SPAM mail at times I have thought of no longer using e-mail at all. What’s with these terrorist marketing strategies? People must actually be buying the stuff or companies wouldn’t still be bothering to do it. Unfortunately it’s mostly scams and non-legitimate companies. For this reason I haven’t even added my e-mail address to this site, sorry if you were trying to contact me. There is always the forum.

You know you love them. Popup ads. I wish I could make one happen right now just for your enjoyment.
Who would have thought there would be any nerdy computer jokes in this comic. Wally & Osbourne have found themselves a computer and are faced with the problem you and I may be faced with sometimes, your bored, you have all the answers at your fingertips, and you just don’t know what to look up or search for. Maybe they will find this very website and become regular readers of the comic. =)
Already A Month Old & Chewing Solid Foods
I just realized the comic is already a month old, I guess that’s not very old I just can’t believe a month has already gone by. If you’ve been enjoying the strip then be sure to tell your friends about it or give it a mention on your blog if you have one, or on any forums you frequent that might enjoy the comic. It’s time to start spreading the word. There’s enough Wally and Osbourne to go around.
In my last post I mentioned the new film "March of the Penguins". It seems to be in all the major theaters now but I still haven’t gotten a chance to go see
it, I really want to though, maybe this weekend. If you’re interested in learning a bit about our frozen continent there is another PBS series called "Nature Antarctica" you might find on DVD at your local rental shop. It doesn’t cover the creatures so much but is more geared to explaining the freezing and thawing cycle of the mass of water around the continent and the life of an iceberg. The second part has some pretty cool underwater footage of icebergs and small creature life on the ocean floor. You know, if like, you’re into that sort of stuff. Actually it starts out with a mother seal popping a baby right out on the ice.
I get a kick out of this strip, not so much the strip itself, as the mental image of Wally just going to town on that door with a snow shovel. You know how bears are when they know there’s food in something.
Wally is not a criminal. He just not know things.
I’ve been a vegetarian for a few years now. I can actually blame it on going to Comic-con on my one year anniversary. My wife went to meet Pamelyn Ferdin who was the voice of Fern in the classic cartoon: Charlotte’s Web. Ms. Ferdin didn’t have any Charlotte’s web paraphernalia though, no, she was packing hard core vegan propaganda. My wife read these colorful pamphlets to me on the long drive home from the convention and it really set in, both the health and moral aspects of it. I went totally vegan for about three months and it was about the best I’d ever felt. Its hard to do though and I ended up adding eggs, fish and some dairy products back to the diet. The other hard thing about it is eating at someones house, they have to prepare you “special” version of the meal. They ask things like, “you eat chicken right?” And sometimes they feel defensive like you are trying to convert them or are judging their flesh eating ways. I’m not though, I just have enjoyed the benefits of it personally and am sticking with it.
It also doesn’t mean you are healthy. You still might not exercise. And you can still eat a lot of junk food, being most of it does not have meat product in it…
Like chocolate. I love chocolate. I’m a vegetarian and I love chocoloate. Hey, don’t you try and draw connections with me and Wally. Don’t you look at me like that!
I think by showing travel ads we can help boost tourism to Antarctica. Let’s spread the word about this party spot.
Sometimes its hard to know if Wally is being honest or sarcastic. Either way he pulls off the “add insult to injury” trick perfectly.
This was a pun that was just inevitable. Bipolar disorder runs in my family and I would like to take the time to blame any time that the comic does not get done on it. =)
